The modern German big cat
As a teenaged wargamer in the late '90s, I occasionally fiddled about with 'ultramodern' games with Leopard 2s, T-90s, Challengers... Somehow I really never thought that kind of thing would actually happen.
It was comforting to put that all in the 'what if' pile. Same as that old roleplay game Twilight 2000.
